On Monday, December 20, 2004, Moscow Vremya Novostey, a small-circulation paper focusing on business and political news in Moscow, Russia, published an interview with Lt-Gen Vadim Kirpichenko, former Consultant to the Director of Russia's foreign intelligence service, the Sluzhba Vneshney Razvedki (SVR). The translation of the interview was done by the US Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS), and is available here.
